today i was so worried about my sacrament talk, and i was suddenly moved up on the spot to first speaker. i have absolutely no idea if Bishop made a mistake when announcing or what, cos i was supposed to be 2nd speaker! but oh well. spoke too fast, Bro Victor commented that i "didn't need to breathe". haha i was super nervous. and i spent the past two days sleeping at 2am, preparing it last-minute. and i realised my house has really cool church books, like DOCTRINE & COVENANTS ENCYCLOPEDIA, by Hoyt W. Brewster Jr. it is freaking cool and there's so much info there. and i also spent a good deal of time looking through old issues of the Ensign, and i must say those prophets and apostles of old look quite um, different when they were younger. Elder L Tom Perry was very tall last time! he was even taller than Pres. Monson! that's cool. oh oh amanda got me the flower thingy from Toys R Us for Christmas. i shall put it on my bed cos it's big, and i can't bear to bend the stem. so crap, now i owe abish, her and kandace presents. going to meet the youth later for countdown to the NEW YEAR! we're going Bishop's house to surprise him, to celebrate his birthday! yay then going to kandace's house for movie marathon. i can't wait. okay then,

oh yahoo. i've changed my blogskin to this nice lovely sinful tempting chocolate skin. whoopee. and yay the internet is working again? still very laggy, but that's okay.
well okay then, my room is currently being repainted now. a super bright yellow for 3 walls (it's called Morning Sun), and a pretty shocking blue for another(Neptune Blue). i love my room, it looks so cheery. wait till Keshia sees what has been done. well and i'm in 3truth now. cheers everybody. Christmas has come and gone, and now it's time to look forward to a New Year. New classes, new friends, new workload, more pressure, more tests. brilliant. right. well to move on to less nostalgic things. it's so sad that Triumph in the Skies is ending. it's such a nice show please. Charlotte's Web was a really nice movie. and the ending with all those baby spiders hatching, and flying off with the wind with cries of "wheee! wheee! wheee!", made me think of the nursery rhyme This Little Pig.
and oh i managed to catch two glimpses of the mother bird incubating the eggs! yes there are now 3 blue eggs in the round nest. i'll post the pictures next time. hurry up birds and quickly hatch them! the blocks in my area are being repainted, then what will happen to the birds?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

yes yes yes! it's finally THAT time of the year! where we celebrate the birth of Christ, though it happened um, 8 months ago? haha well i woke up at like 820am and rushed off to watch The Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree. the people and their actions looked so wierd, reminded me of The Polar Express(!), but the story was overall quite sweet lah. and the Littlest Light is so cute! well watched a repeated Barney special, and got cut off watching beloved Spongebob. so i grumpily stomped off and went to sleep for another uh, hour? emerged again to open up the rest of Daddy's presents from his colleagues. well and i finally finished my math hw! and i can smell the delicious smell of turkey stuffing cooking. yum, i can't wait for dinner tonight. well for my presents, i didn't get much. but i got a lovely hymnbook (with my name!), my hang-ten shirt (finally! it's supposed to be for my birthday), and a really cool tissue pack with Sylvester, Tweety, Tasmanian Devil and Bugs Bunny(from Abish. haha it's cheap).well went 5th aunt's house for dinner yesterday, and saw her new BIG house. very nice and spacious. and the food was definitely good, but don't know WHY, i ate so little. saw dad's family photo when he was really really young in yeye's room. very cool.

oh my gosh. i had so much fun yesterday at the ZOO. met early in the morning at 830 at amk. i was chionging to the mrt cos i was running late, and realised im early. good that racho and zhing was there already though. after a bit of miscommunication, we finally all met at the busstop, waiting for 138 to come. getting there was the start of the wonderful trip. however, we heard the horrific news that OUR LOVELY CHOIR BANNER had tore. it tore. and it's apparently in a very bad bad shape. i mourn for it ;(
but a good thing coming up was the zoo. and soon, i forgot about that sad sad event. we jouneyed through the zoo amidst the rain, took loads of pictures, and had FUN. feeding those baboons was exciting, where we kept scolding those bigger older ones, who snatched at the bananas. and there was this very very cute baby baboon, clinging on to it's mother. how sweet. went and saw the polar bears, Inuka and Sheba. another round of flurry picture taking. visited the crocs (and i don't mean those ugly shoes) and had fun climbing up to take pics. swooned at those super cute penguins, cheered for those strong elephants and squealed at those cute animals. visited the Fragile Forest twice ans spotted thosw wanted animals. saw a bat peeing :/? went to Children's World Animal Land and fell down. took photos of those cute but smelly animals. had lunch at KFC (i do not like the standard :/). after that much needed rest, we went to see those scaly snakes. racho sure has a way with them :) well after that, we spent a long time searching for the lions and giraffe, and finally oh! after donkeys years? we found the majestic lions! except the one-and-only lion with the mane wasn't all that majestic and good looking after all. we stayed in the aircon (!) exhibit for quite a while, gossiping about their sexual activities. then we finally went to the souvenir shop (taking cover from the massive throng of korean students?), and saw a really cool section which makes white turn flourescent. the coolest thing!

and smuggled it up the bus, where i had a exhilarating time deleting 20pics from eunice's camera, with her constatly threatening to BY. and apparently i took a whooping 150pics. that's SUPER-dee-DUPER!
then upon reaching sembawang, i went to the library and borrowed more brilliant books. then i battled my way home through the heavy heavy rain with only my spoiled umbrella as my shield. and yes! i finally got my school books! after ages ages ages ages ages... fine you get my point, i got them. and oh my gosh, So You Think You Can Dance is do freaking nice nice nice. however, america must be stupid to not have voted for DMITRY. for goodness sake, he's so hot, and he can DANCE. ivan should go OUT. harrumph. he's only good at lyrical hip-hop. blah at others. but at least i'm happy with the winner! YESSSSS! :DDD i went to the official website, and saw the announcement, plain and bright for all to see. yay! http://www.fox.com/dance/

yay yesterday went to school to help put up the lovely choir banner. it really looks so good up there above the hockey one. well i was like, about 20min late getting to school? and soon after i got there, me and cheryl started tearing off the newspapers at the sides. then we and eunice dragged it up to the third floor, leaving a lot of newspapers in our wake. you could even find out where we were by following the trail of newspapers. goodness, what a mess. well then uncle and i continued ripping out the newspapers from the back, and like halfway through, uncle started singing "plenisunt celi et tera gloria tua". yes that was so random of her. and i improvised it by singing "plenisunt celi et TEAR AH! gloria tua". and so we sang it a couple of times while furiously ripping off newpapers. and soon cheryl serene yiying jiamei came back up too. poor yiying had a headache and so she sorted the posters, s.jm figured out how to attach the ropes and c.e and me continued tearing newspapers. what a mess! eunice soon went off to watch eragon and we finally got round to putting up the banner, and goodness! it was a difficult task. but we finally did it! and now it's there hanging in it's full beautiful glory, above the hockey banner.
we pasted up our posters and y.jm and me took a ride in serene's car to the busstop. but we trekked to the next bustop, where jm and me left for abby's house. abby's house is cool. and even though we slacked A LOT, i managed to finish my bio papers! couldn't go to the fireside by bro AC ho cos i was still at abby's house. and goodness, on the bus back to bishan, the hp ringtone was busy ringing in my head! i have heard it too many times today. i do not wish to hear it anymore for the rest of the week. HARRUMPH.

ooh today was fun. i went to school at 1010 to help in painting our choir banner for cca fair! and so i did touch-ups and goodness, it was so tiring. but i'm so proud of my work on the mouth! the banner is so nice. aack cheryl is so cool! her design rocks please. and oh yeah, now the butt of my pe shorts has a white imprint of a music note, specifically a crochet. HARRUMPH. and my nose was so irritating today. i was sniffing so badly. UGH. yesterday i was supposed to go along and buy banner stuff. pity i woke up with a pretty headache.
and tue was our last choir practise, though it didn't end on a very happy note. but it's okay, at least i know my sop1 part for Everyone Sang better. and it's kinda sad that ms melody's supposedly last day with us wasn't such anymore. she didn't come. and pity her upcoming concert is on sunday.
oh well, back to happier stuff. yay i'm going back again tomorrow to hang up the lovely choir banner. and after that i'm going abby's house with jiamei to do homework? oh and her mother is gonna treat us lunch, which means we can buy however much we WANT form macs. oh my gosh, she's so cool. and then at 730pm there's a fireside that Bro AC Ho is giving, before he and Sis Helen go on their mission? i think i'll be going. sigh, which means it's going to be a long day!
and gosh, my father has super cheap tickets for Charlotte's Webon 27dec! and it costs only $2.50 through his company. how cool is that please. pity it's only a maximum of 4 tickets/person.
oh well. oh i made this wonderful discovery about 3 weeks ago? my mother's table's side window has an excellent view of the nest!

they're so cute. but lately they've been less noisy! quite worried for them.

FIRST, i have been moves to sop1. the choir was re-auditioned and i've been moved to sop1. i was so so so so so shocked please. and goodness when the sec3s came in and ms lim asked again who's in sop1, like quite a few of them were like, "oh my gosh, myra's in sop1?!" harrumph. i was just as shocked, even more actually. and returning to the chopin, shinny was going "im gonna hate you!" and worse still, my uncle e is still in alto1! aargh we're so far apart please. and uncle s was moved down to alto2. and i called the latter that very night, venting it all on poor her. BUT, it was very helpful and i felt so much better. and today there was choir, though i had to leave early for my dental, and i'd say i fit in not too bad. hm she was right!
and oh i was 15min late for my dental. aack so sorry dr wong. the rain that day was like, SUPER heavy. ha but i'm so brave, those loud booming thunder didn't scare me. and the color is still red and green, but the green is so outstanding lah.
im staying at home now, not enjoying good food at sis jiupeng's house. aack im so lazy. sat was fun. went to BTC early in the morn for musical practise (oh finally) and it was lovely. the whole thing is gonna be so cool man. and i went home and promptly slept for 1hr. then had to go off again for Yooung Women in Excellence where i had a rollicking good time. sam marie marion kandace me were making stars in innovative ways.

oohlala today's ZHING's bdae and somepeople called gets and claudice called me up to attemt to persuade me to go to school for a surprise bdae party for her. sorry guys, my mama does not allow me. and gets made me feel so bad, saying i was a "bad friend". harrumph. ah well, caroling on sat night went well. i managed to reach yishun 1min early, all thanks to sis eve for calling me up to ask if i could bring something, and therefore reminding me of the time! so i rushed through me 2 hotdog buns from IKEA (the bathroom is gonna have a new mirror cabinet!) and off i went! and to my surprise, amanda loh, the Queen of Late was already there! 5mins early to be exact. oh well and we all piled into the red van and black car. the YW i'll have to say, we were pretty high! and kandace was wearing this shirt with a picture of Buttercup on it, with shiny beads all around the edge of the pic. and thus, the powderpuff girls were formed. comprising of Samantha as Blossom, moi as Bubbles, and Kandace as Buttercup.

caroling was fun. fun fun fun. i thought it'd be wierd at first, but it turned out ok. out last stop was sis cynthia's house and that's where it ended and had refreshments, looked at clementi ward's photo (laughing hysterically at familiar faces when they were young) and took pictures. and the view of Malaysia across the Causeway is way too cool man. and so i had fun.

well it's very late in the morning now and here i am sitting in my pj's. tsk! to me. and im not very happy now cos i have not had my daily dose of milk. there is ABSOLUTELY no milk in this house, not even my parents's milk and i don't mean breast milk. i mean low-fat high-calcium milk. but of course, since im like, still super young and skinny, i can afford to drink FRESH milk. and i also missed Spongebob and Jimmy Neutron cos i was a pig enough tosleep till 11am? and to add on, i can't find the Life! newspaper. somebody hid it somewhere and i can't ask that particular someone where he/she hid it cos i'm currently the only one at home. comprehend? and yes i definitely MUST MUST MUST go jogging today! and whoopee, we're going a-caroling-we-go today. sigh it's already December? where did November go? and all this while i've been slacking slacking and SLACKING. huh big surprise there. well i'd better buck up and finish most of my HW before christmas comes! i can't wait. well but that would imminently mean it's nearing the End Of Year. but, i shall not pull myself down with such thoughts. yet. oh well. oh take a look at what has happened to the poor 5-yr-old mirror in the bathroom.

well well. the hinge at the bottom left hand corner just came through the wood! and since even using excessive amounts of tape is just not enough, we have decided to leave it as it is. sigh.

A Marshmallow World is just as cute. i'll type it in next time. and from where i'm sitting, i can hear the chirping and the tweeting of the bird couple building their nest beside my home's air-con generator. and it isn't like those story book pictures of oh-so-neat roundness. heck no. it's more like a messy pile.


and yesterday was a lovely long day of choir. started at 1230 and ended at like, gosh, 530? well met shinny and she bullied me on the train, poking me here and there just to force me to say my sisters' names. HA! well we popped by 7-11 to get some lunch which sadly, was not filling at all. oh well, upon reaching the chopin room, i was almost immediately bullied again. which is really rather sad don't you think? i mean, considering i'm such a wonderful person *cough cough* hm you didn't hear anything did you? oh well. and gek got braces on her upper set of teeth! and so we continued learning the SYF set piece and really, if you must ask me, i really find the lyrics somewhat, um, stupid. sorry about that, but seriously, what 's with the NOs? and we then move on to learn I Feel Pretty which is a really ego-istical song. oh well during the journey home, i got bullied again. so what's new huh. but i finally fled when i reached sembawang. oh well better eat my dinner now. it's turning oh-so-cold.
