Whatever It Takes!
Whatever It Takes totally rocked. it was an unbelievely good experience. dang, i wish we could keep performing it over and over. first 2 performances on fri were good, still room for improvement. sat's 4pm show was not so good. but i was watching it with uncle s, and she enjoyed it. yay! well we had a testimony meeting after that, before out last 2 shows and goodness, that was the BEST testimony meeting i've ever attended. the Spirit was so strong, and the testimonies were just so good. i thought wenjie's one was powerful. and everyone who went up were tearing/crying/shaking. the testimony meeting was SUPERB. so we then all trooped back to the Stake Centre, hugging each other and wiping off out tears. for the record, i'm not a no-feeling person k, even though i didn't cry. RAHH amanda. ahah.
okay so the 7pm performance was sososososo good. it was amazing, and best thing is, it was the show that was taped. yay! 830 show was sososo good too, and it was out last one. sadsadsad stuff. none of us wanted to leave and we kept singing and singing, giving hugs to everyone, including group hugs to the main cast. i had an insanely amount of fun.
<3 to the youth!

The Final Solo

BENJI!!!

yay i'm so happy that he won So You Think You Can Dance 2 ! he totally rocked the dance floor.

today was mr adrain's birthday! haha he was like, "what? not one, but TWO?!" when he saw what he got. it consisted of 2 packs of facial blotters (last him about 3months?), red pens and chocolates. and oh yah, 2 cakes. really small ones. so small they cost a grand total of $5+. how nice of charlyne not to claim the + of that amount. had the first morning jog of the year, and it was a good jog/run.

ms poore walked into class on tuesday, announcing to the class,

ms poore: "today is a very important day, mark this day, because today, we are starting A maths!"

class: groans

ms poore: gives us wierd look. "well, let's try that again!" repeats earlier speech

class: "whoooo!"

ms poore: "yes, that's the correct answer." smiles at us.

she's so funny :D

choir yesterday was okay. i think we sang quite well actually! finally learnt section A of sakura. so so wierd.

and those chicks have grown some feathers! they have black coloyr on them, and no more that ugly nakedness.

Stake Centre dedication was good, though i was distracted by the thought of still needing to sew on my belt. but it really was good.

BENJI, school and choir, open house, pics
mary murphy says: You have backbone, wishbone and funnybone!
BENJI, you rock!
well school has been okay so far. we have changed our seating arrangement, and it's actually nice to seat beside the door at the back. rushing to school from seminary up north at sis martzi's house makes sitting at the back door really convenient. was running to class as the bell rang and dropped my bag on the floor upon stepping in the back door. tough, especially since mu- does not allow me to leave early? oh well, free exercise i guess.
choir was pretty bad on thursday. i had fun during interviews and one of them was really professional, showing me and adela certificates and even a testimonial from her teacher. woah. and there was one over-confident one? she said, "i can sing pop song rock song but not hiphop. i hate it, rap too. i can't do rap. and don't ask me to dance. for graduation, we had to do indian dance." and then she starts demonstrating. um, whatever. and some sec1 stole my shoe. hello? do yuo not know how your own shoes look like? must you be that blind and wear mine? for goodness sake, open your eyes! and so i had to settle for someone else's. please, it was hidden behind something? i bet that was the correct one, and she goes and wear mine? waaaaaay wrong. and then went for choir which turned out bad in the end. everyone was sombre, and a few cried. it was raining heavily and while walking home, i was splashing in puddles, getting my shoes really soaked. but guess what? i realised it was really theurapatic, this raining business.
went with shinny and serene to the Open House yesterday after school. got our shoes REALLY wet 'cos of that pool at the pathway. gross stuff. uncles was shrieking the whole way. but at the building was really beautiful, so peaceful. the tour was good. haha shinny liked wenjie's tie because it was orange.
but i'm really thankful that they could go. thank you, both of you <3
oh well, pity i'm not bringing anymore today. all 3 of them has a reason.

oh well, shall upload some pics.

the chicks! don't they look ugly?

it opened it's mouth for food. pity it moved as i took it. it looked cute actually.

the mother bird sitting in it's nest.
the sky one evening. isn't it pretty?

2007. SYF piecs, CCA fair, hatched eggs
i feel too short to be a sec 3.

it's the year 2007 now, so farewell to 2006. it's only been 3days into school and already, there's homework. pfft. form teacher is Adrain Wong a.k.a shiny face. he's turning um, 30 this year! and sitting at the back in one row is THE choir section, according to ms poore. we've got moll- as bio teacher. jesmine tan is so right. she's highly highly entertaining. and 3truth is turning out to be a nice class.
one of our SYF pieces has been changed to Sakura Sakura. so goodbye, Life Defends. and we now have a new assistant. her name is WIND lee. or maybe it's wynn? oh well she's super GRRRR-AHHH! terrible terrible.
and today was CCA fair. our souvenirs rock. many sec1s wrote their names on their board! saw ex-seniors who came back. it's good to see them :D and our lovely choir banner which tore 3times was still hung up in the end. it's so pretty! went home with shinny and her friend, gloria.
but sadly, i missed today's all-important musical practise. oh dang.
and yay! those 2 out of 3 eggs have hatched! the last one was laid later, so maybe it'll hatch next time. but newly hatched chicks are um, reeaalllly ugly. abish says they look like baby dinosaurs. i say i don't know. they are featherless and that's scary.

Movie marathon, crystal jade palace, photos
yesterday was fun. i have no idea if the surprise for Bishop was really a surprise, but it's still cool. had fun popping party-poppers and singing Happy Birthday for Bishop. the refreshments were delicious. well then moved on to kandace's house for the movie marathon! it was so cool please. we watched Helen the Baby Fox, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Madagascar. and yay! me and erika were the only girls who stayed up through the entire movie marathon! yay 3cheers for us! ate lots of Ferrero Rocher too :) and i love playing on that swing thingy. but it makes my butt hurt. well when we all finally went home, i bathed, and promptly fell asleep for 4-5 hours. mummny woke me up with a jolt and i felt so lethargic. went to sis wendy mah's house for her housewarming and ate more good food. i thank kandace for that nice belated christmas present. that um, scrapbook? was so so cute, and the blue bangles rock. woohoo! then today. went to eat at Crystal Jade Palace with yeye. the interior is so snazzy. the food was good, but they're like, super expensive? woah. then went suntec and bought shoes and a nice new purse! the purse is way cool. it's like, a long zip that zips itself up to make a purse! haah the shop also sold bags and pencil cases too. pretty.
ok shall post some overdue photos now.

first we saw two eggs...

then three the next day!

and this my repainted room! oh well, it doesn't look so bright here.

and this is what has happened to my poor candy flower that deeyee gave during xiaoge's tea ceremony. abish says it's due to to the rainy weather. see the mould?

this is daddy's failed attempt to cook egg the way it was described in some newspaper article clipping. it involves cooking the egg over really low fire, stirring constantly. supposed to give you creamy effect. daddy went and added chocolate too, that's why it's so brown! well in the end, the more he cooked, the lesser the amount of egg was seen. and it didn't even taste that great.

and this is mummy's first try at making bread with our new bread machine a few weeks back. it was a failed attempt too. and when she took it out,

it resembled a Lincoln hat!
