Grease!
in my youtube account, there are 10 Grease videos,
and i have just printed out the lyrics of 11 songs from Grease (more later),
and i plan to watch Grease 10+++++ times (just like milka, but more),
and so i've just entered the next level of Grease mania,
reminiscing my childhood,
and laughing at their outrageous dance moves (that are cute and cool then, but terribly dorky now),
singing along loudly to their brilliant songs,
jump and dance while they perform for nobody's benefit,
and just plainly enjoying the whole show from start to end and over and over again.

I LOVE GREASE!I LOVE GREASE!I LOVE GREASE!I LOVE GREASE!I LOVE GREASE!I LOVE GREASE!

sunday school, The Phantom Tollbooth, sci centre, stake mutual
Peter was one of the greatest of men. It is true that the N.T. recounts some mortal weaknesses, but it also illustrates that he overcame them and was made strong by his faith in Jesus Christ. The Lord honored Peter by selecting him to hold the keys of the kingdom on earth...and after the death and ascension of the Savior, it was Peter who called the Church together and acted in the office of his calling as the one who possessed the keys of the priesthood. It was through Peter's ministry that the gospel was first opened up to the gentiles.
~Bible Dictionary

today's sunday school has really let me see Peter the prophet, who denied Christ thrice, in a different light.

"You see what a dull place the world would be without colour?" he said, bowing until his chin almost touched the ground. "But what pleasure to lead my violins in a serenade of spring green or hear my trumpets blare out the blue sea and then watch the oboes tint it all in warm yellow sunshine. And rainbows are best of all - and blazing neaon signs, and the soft muted tones of a foggy day. We play them all."
~Chroma, the man who conducts the colors in the world, The Phantom Tollbooth.

this book really made me think about the english language and how literal it can be written, and how funny math can be.

fri was a fun day! went sci centre after school for this Meeting with the Scientist thingy, a talk called Chemistry Here There Everywhere. and we saw cool experiments (like complex redox reactions), and we had a fun time after that just ogling science toys and looking around the marine alcove exhibit. well stake mutual after that was pretty fun. scripture chase games were quite adrenaline-pumping. i was in grp3, and we started out with 0, and ended with 0. amaaazing. heehee but I won the individual part ok no joke. and i got this nice red box full of CHOCOLATE, and michael hahaha he got second and a PINK HEART-SHAPED BOX.

p.s. have i mentioned how much i love Grease?

lit research, chiolevel, choir, shopaholic&baby, elder whiting, uncles
yay i'm in school now talking over msn with NG JIAMEI even though she's just two seats down. and we're supposed to be collating our lit research now, except there's this china girl who is in-between us, and was surfing youtube and friendster and facebook and doing i-have-no-idea-what now. and so all thanks to her, we are doing absolutely nothing! YAY US. and even then, our research has clotted and we couldn't save it and it died. how sad. we should hold a funeral service for it.

well anyway, chi o'level oral AND listening compre is over. but i discovered through this that hindsight is better than foresight and so hindsight should become forseight as then we'll be able to foresee both fore and hind and thus the world of oral would become a happier place.

choir has been rather hmm so far. but improving? overseas trip next year to italy or estonia sounds exotic. I REEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLY want to go.

watched harry potter on fri with joelle emtan jiamei abby yiying matthew(ying's friend)! i personally thought this one was better than goblet though, cos it was less obvious that HUGE chunks were chopped off. and though this one had less action, well it's not as if harry is some action hero right?! and i was sosososososososososo sad when sirius black died.

read finish shopaholic & baby, and came to a eureka moment. if i could have a husband like Luke, who's smart handsome successful rich loving everything, i could be the happiest taitai on earth. i mean, the way he stood up for becky was just pure awesomeness! ! !

played apples to apples for FHE and it's really really cool. keshia's long-awaited return has definitely a few perks. like learning how to play apples to apples! and soon phase 10, and getting nice stuff, and listening to her cds once again. though i kinda can't wait for her to leave for her TAIWAN TAIPEI MISSION, and for abish to leave for BYU PROVO. how exciting.

elder whiting came back to singapore for another visa run (he's finishing his mission really soon!), and he came and visited the lai family! yay it was good to see him again, especially since he said i GREW heeheehee.

was supposed to have prata outing on mon, but smart eunice forgot all about it and scheduled her piano lesson at 430pm. and this was to celebrate her birthday lah pls. grrrr >:(

(the china girl is GONE! me and jm just looked at each other with a look of pure ecstacy man.)
